When making my furniture, I pay attention to sustainability and regionality; all beams are selected by hand and in all cases come from central Hesse.
The transport routes are correspondingly short and it is ensured that these wonderful woods are reused.
The age of the old wooden beams is between a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 400 years, but on average the beams are well over 100 years old.
The beams always differ slightly in appearance; some have dovetails and engravings but they are not always identical.
The surface of the beams can be processed as follows:
natural or oiled with linseed oil varnish
Each bar is different and the colors are also unique.

steel frame:
Raw steel TIG welded and matt painted with clear varnish.
Depending on the raw material, the scale layer may be detached in some places, creating an industrial raw steel look.
Edges are deburred and sanded.
The frame can also be powder-coated for an additional charge of 100 euros.
